Martha Lea Hasselberg is 19 years old, comes from Güstrow/Germany and is this year’s winner of the national competition “Jugend musiziert” in the category pop singing.
From the age of seven she received music and violin lessons. During a stay with her family in Norway she started singing lessons at the age of 12 and already there she participated several times in cultural competitions. Back in Germany, Martha Lea has been taking voice lessons with Stephan Bordihn since 2018. Accompanied by Nadja Klafs at the piano she won the second prize at “Jugend musiziert” in the category musical singing in 2021.
In the meantime, she has participated in other musical projects, such as a project organized by EMCY (European Union of Music Competitions for youth) in Lithuania with young musicians from different countries.
