A musical journey in the open air …

The meetMUSIC Open Air is the summer festival of the meetMUSIC concert series and invites you on three days in August to musical discoveries, personal concerts and special moments with exquisite young artists and international award winners in a very special ambience. The promotion of highly talented young musicians from Germany and abroad is a particular concern of ours.

The beautiful park of Draiflessen provides the perfect backdrop, very impressive especially in the evening when not only the stage but also the old trees are colorfully illuminated. The garden is a treasure in the Tecklenburger Land, which will be opened exclusively for the music festival for our audience. Under beautiful trees we invite our guests to embark on a musical journey in a relaxed and atmospheric atmosphere. But not only the ears will be spoiled, also the palate will be pleased: Our chef prepares small delicacies from regional ingredients, which can be accompanied with pleasure by a glass of wine or a sparkling beer.

We are very happy that the sisters Anouchka and Katharina Hack have taken over the artistic direction of the Open Air for the third time. Together with the team of Draiflessen they create a rousing program for the meetMUSIC summer festival with musician friends and companions.

In the spirit of promoting excellent young artists, Draiflessen GmbH & Co. oHG will again donate a special prize in 2023 for one winner each of the national competition Jugend musiziert. This year, musicians will be awarded in the categories piano solo, drum set (pop) and chamber music with wind instruments of age group V (born 2005, 2006). They will again open one of the concerts during the OpenAir.
