Luca Sestak is a sensationally unconventional pianist who knows how to captivate audiences with his music. Virtuosic and charming, he moves between jazz, classical, pop, blues and funk – and combines these worlds with humor, temperament and an impressive lightness of touch. His playing ranges from fiery virtuosity, in which the piano mechanics are pushed to their limits, to touching minimalism, in which every chord resonates. Goosebumps are no exception, they are the program.

Luca Sestak became a phenomenon at an early age: at the age of eleven, he posted his first videos of his piano playing online, which now have over 30 million views. His musical journey has taken him all over the world – to major stages, international tours, television and radio appearances and even concerts for heads of state. He has never stood still, but has consistently developed his own style.

With his current album “Lighter Notes” Luca shows how Bach could sound in a jazz club, how Chopin suddenly becomes funky – and how versatile a piano can be. For his own compositions, he occasionally prepares the instrument with felt or adhesive tape and elicits surprising sounds and rhythms that have never been heard before.

Together with Nicholas Stampf (drums) and Luca Genze (double bass), Luca forms a trio. With passion and great musicality, they create a concert experience that inspires, surprises and lingers for a long time.
